So I needed to have my car serviced, which meant that I'd be stuck somewhere waiting for it. I chose to bring along art supplies. At 8:00 am I dropped my car off and started walking toward Broad Ripple Park. I found this lovely spot by the river with a gap in the trees and a lone sycamore shining in the morning light. I may have to work on the upper right a bit more to lighten the catalpa trees in the foreground. Stay tuned, it may change.
