Painted from a photo I took in late October at the takeout at the Nantahala river.

Two kayakers were playing in a wave under the footbridge.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the face, but otherwise it turned out very well. I'm undecided about the background. The shadow of the bridge was right behind the kayaker, but maybe it shouldn't be quite so black. And maybe there should be some bank in the extreme back.
