I revisited a favorite painting this winter. I've been toying with the idea of breaking out the oils again. Scary stuff. I was surprised how easily it started. I had to stop a few times to think, but with a little advice from a friend, it all came together in about a month.
This is based on a painting I did over 20 years ago from a photo I'd taken on a beautiful day in Great Smoky Mountains national park.
