Landscapes
This is Clear Creek in the Cedar Bluff nature preserve a little way south of Bloomington, IN. I used to walk the dogs here regularly when I was in grad school. Somehow I didn't remember how rugged the trail along the creek was. But I managed to carry my easel, pastels, and assorted tools about halfway down it. Unfortunately, when I was almost finished I twice knocked one box of pastels off, spilling them into the rocks. Fortunately, this was a box I was going to have to replace soon anyway.
This was painted on my last piece of Wallis sanded paper. They had production problems and went out of business a few years ago.
