Painted for the 2020 Art to Finish competition in Franklin. It was a cloudy day with intermittent rain. I started this from a photograph, but my phone was almost out of juice and I didn't have a way to charge it. Because of the intermittent rain I painted most of it with my easel under my large plein air umbrella while I stood and sat under the tailgate of my car. Eventually I moved to my friend Bobbi's back porch for finishing touches. I don't like how flat it appears. I don't think this was one of my best efforts.
