Portfolio > Still Lifes

There is something about beets. Every time I'm wondering the produce section at the grocery and I see beets I HAVE TO buy some. It's a strange compulsion, but what can I do. And there will be borscht in the near future. This time I decided to paint a still life first.

Technically there should also be potatoes and tomatoes too, but I didn't have any of either on hand. Life is seldom perfect.
