Painted during the 2010 First Brush of Spring Paintout in Harmonie State Park, near New Harmony, IN.
This is a great, old tree on a spring afternoon. I should paint it again one of these days.
I think it would benefit from more reddish brown amid the purple in the trunk & branches.
