Painted at a paintout at Indiana Dunes.
This was one of the first paintouts I did. I don't even remember where I learned about it, but I drove up to Michigan City to attend.
It is dark, but it has potential. Most of the scene is under the trees, so there were lots of shadows.It needs more color on the house, the trees, and the fence, and more grass.
An article about the event appeared in the Michigan City paper a few days later. It had a photo of me painting and a caption saying something about cows. There were no cows anywhere near where I was painting.
