Alternate title: “Blue Still Life.”
The subject is a hot chocolate set that was part of my dad’s childhood. The difference between a teapot and a hot chocolate pot is where the spout pours from. The chocolate pot pours from the top and the teapot from the bottom. Painted over a few gloomy December days with a little help from a trouble light. Except for the flowers, painted strictly in blue and yellow.
