Enchanted Pool - Sequoia National Park

This beautiful spot was a 1/4 mile upstream from the Potwisha campground. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to paint it. The water was crystal clear. The pool was probably over 6 feet deep but I could see details in the bottom.
In Sequoia whenever you are near one of the streams there are signs warning about dangerous waters. Otherwise, this would have been a glorious skinny-dipping pool. Well, maybe apart from the ice cold water.
