One day at pottery class, Shoko, the teacher, showed me how to close the top of a pot to make something like a beach cobble. I copied the one she had made and they went onto a board together. She picked the board up, holding it close to her chest, looked down and said, "Look. Boobs." I've called them boob pots ever since. This is 5 of the 8 or 9 I've made so far.

The glazes are speckled plum and raw honey.
