So there was a paintout one summer day at Central Library. I had been thinking about the Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte and was in a silly mood.
The buildings are the War Memorial and the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in downtown Indianapolis.
You'll be surprised to learn that it didn't win the contest.
Apart from the really awful base for the Soldiers & Sailors monument, I still like it.
