Painted at a paintout in Lafayette on a sunny October morning.

Our friends Karan & Pat Benner used to own this coffee shop on courthouse square in downtown Lafayette. When I first sat down the light was beautifully reflected off the buildings around the corner, so I had to paint it.

Karen and Pat let artists take advantage of the windows to display their work. The paintings in the window to the right were...unusual. The woman who painted them basically painted her breasts and them pressed them onto the canvas.

A friend from work fell in love with this painting & had to have it. So I sold it to her.
