Barbara Ann's Grandmother

My friend Barbara Ann asked me to make a frame for a photograph of her grandmother, take when she was about 18 in about 1920. I fell in love with the photograph and made my version of a copy. One of the earliest good paintings I did, it took a 2nd place ribbon at the Indiana State Fair the second year I entered paintings.
