George Flexman - After Work
Morning at Feast of the Hunters Moon
2010
Pastel
10x16
It rained this morning for the first time in too long. I drove to Lafayette from Indianapolis in rain that went from light sprinkles to heavy downpour and everything in between. Just as I parked the car, the rain stopped. It didn't rain again all weekend. I set up my easel on high ground looking across the camp near a dumpster and a long row of portable toilets. I don't think this painting is finished, but I can't figure out quite what to do with it.
