I've know Dave for over 40 years. A few years ago he started woodworking. When he heard I had started painting he gave me this beautiful cherry bowl in exchange for a painting to be named later. I've had the bowl for over a year but still haven't given him a painting. But the bowl was the perfect model for a still life. I'm not quite satisfied with the painting yet. It may change a bit somewhere down the road.
